    At EPIC, we aim to provide the best end-of-lease cleaning possible. For our cleaners to work effectively, we require the property to be empty. Furniture and other removable fixtures can hinder thorough cleaning of walls and floors. We also need to ensure there is power and running water. If the above conditions may not be possible, let us know in advance, and we will make alternative arrangements.

    How much do you charge?

    The cost of our end-of-lease clean generally depends on your property’s size. We charge in accordance with the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home. Additional charges apply for extra services not included in the general scope of our standard bond clean, such as carpet steam cleaning, outside windows, extra balconies, full wall washing, and extra blinds. If the property requires a more thorough cleaning, we may reserve the right to charge extra, communicated before starting. Our end-of-lease clean starts at $340 for a one-bedroom or studio apartment and increases incrementally. 

    Do you have any service exclusions?

    Certainly, we generally exclude the following services:

    • Gardening.
    • Extensive mould removal.
    • Patching or fixing of damaged walls.
    • Thorough ceiling cleaning.
    • Fixing and cleaning inside light fittings.
    • Cleaning of chandeliers or other easily damaged fixtures.
    • Changing light bulbs.
    • Damaged carpet restoration.
    • Repairing damaged grout or turning excessively dark grout white.
    • Repairing damaged stone countertops or removing blemishes from improper use of chemicals on countertops.
    • Commercial cleaning of heavily soiled kitchen appliances like stoves, large range hoods, and ventilation systems.
    Do you offer a bond back guarantee?

    Yes, all our end-of-tenancy cleans come with a bond-back guarantee. If specific areas within our scope are missed, we will re-clean them free of charge within 72 hours. While we extend the time period for re-cleaning, we cannot accept requests more than 7 working days after completion. Refunds are not provided in place of our re-clean warranty.

    How many people will come to clean my house?

    A team of 2 people is standard for end-of-lease cleaning, with an extra team member if needed, communicated before your cleaning schedule.

    Can I get a receipt to show my landlord?

    Absolutely! Once booked, we’ll place a hold on your card, and upon completion, we’ll send an instant receipt. We can even send a copy to your property manager or landlord via email.

    Are tenants responsible for end-of-tenancy cleaning?

    Yes, tenants are responsible for ensuring the property they’re moving out of is clean and free of damages, apart from general wear and tear.
